| JOHN HENRY OFFERS
BOTH MAGIC AND BALLOON WORKSHOPS |
If
you would like to learn how to entertain your
friends with magic or with clever balloon sculpting
attend John Henry’s Balloon or Magic Workshop. |
| |
| These
workshops will inspire self-confidence, self-esteem
and imagination, while exercising mind, hand,
and eye coordination. They are educational, stimulating,
and fun. |
| |
| BALLOON WORKSHOP |
Students
learn how to inflate, tie and twist balloons into
various shapes including a dog, mouse, squirrel,
hat, flying mouse, and more. Pumps and balloons
are supplied and everyone takes their creations
home. |
| |
| MAGIC WORKSHOP |
Students
learn the difference between doing tricks and
performing magic. Theater concepts are discussed
and an appreciation of the effort, work, and skill
required to transform a puzzle into something
magical is developed. Students will become more
comfortable standing in front of a group speaking
and doing and will be rewarded with the applause
they receive when they demonstrate their new skill.
All tricks can be done with basic items commonly
found around the house. |
